WEEKLY REFLECTION (3rd Week)

Weekly Reflection (7/10/2024-10/10/2024)

This week marked significant growth in both my understanding of educational theories and my practical teaching skills. The training sessions were rich with discussions and hands-on activities that deepened my engagement with pedagogical practices.
 This week has been particularly engaging as we celebrated the youth festival at school. It provided a unique opportunity to observe student participation and the role of extracurricular activities in education. We were allotted for specific duties. I got stage duty. It was a great experience for us. Witnessing students showcase their talents be it in music, dance, or drama highlighted the importance of holistic education. It was inspiring to see shy students come alive on stage, which reinforced the idea that festivals can boost confidence and creativity.
         This week has reinforced my belief in the value of extracurricular activities as integral to the educational experience. I look forward to applying these insights in my future teaching practices, ensuring that I create a supportive and engaging environment for my students.

WEEKLY REFLECTION 7

WEEK 7 (3/2/2025-4/2/2025) The 7th week of my B.Ed training at GHSS Vallikeezhu School marked the conclusion of my time at the school, and it was a bittersweet experience. Looking back, this week has been filled with a mix of emotions excitement for the progress I’ve made, but also a sense of nostalgia as I reflect on the invaluable experiences I’ve gained during this training period. One of the highlights of this final week was the opportunity to consolidate everything I’ve learned over the past weeks. I was able to conduct a final lesson that I had planned and prepared in detail. Last day we get the seal on register from the head mistress and we thank to whole teachers who guide on our teaching path.

WEEKLY REFLECTION - 5th WEEK

Weekly Reflection (21/10/2024-25/10/2024) The fifth week of my B.Ed. school training has been both challenging and enriching. I had the opportunity to apply many theoretical concepts from my coursework in real classroom settings, and I also gained deeper insights into student behavior, classroom management, and teaching strategies.        Students were prepared for sub district level science exhibition and work experience. There is a vaccination was conducted in school on 22 October. Overall, this week has been a significant learning experience. I am gaining more confidence in my teaching abilities and understanding the complexities of managing a classroom.
