Weekly Reflection (4th Week)
Weekly Reflection (14/10/2024-18/10/2024)
This week marked the completion of four weeks of my B.Ed training, and it has been an insightful experience in both my personal development and teaching skills. I had the opportunity to teach more lessons this week, and I focused on improving my lesson planning and classroom management skills. I noticed that my ability to engage students has improved, as I employed interactive activities and incorporated multimedia tools. However, there are still moments when maintaining student focus can be challenging, especially when the lesson becomes content-heavy.
On this week we conduct a world Hand washing day celebration on October 15th. It will gave an awareness to the students about the importance of hygiene.
The students actively participated on this session. Our teachers Remya miss and Ambili miss came to school for observation.
I've been able to develop more structured and detailed lesson plans. I’ve also started to adapt my lessons based on the learning needs of different students. I’ve become more adapt at managing class time, ensuring that all activities are covered without rushing through the material. Each week brings new challenges, and I am learning to be adaptable, reflective, and patient with myself. This week has reinforced my understanding that teaching is not just about transferring knowledge, but about fostering a positive learning environment and adjusting to students' needs. I’m excited to continue growing and improving my skills.
