WEEKLY REFLECTION - 4

WEEK 4 (13/1/2025-17/1/2025)

Weekly Reflection on the 4th Week of B.Ed Training at School

The fourth week of my B.Ed training has been a period of growth, reflection, and deeper engagement at GHSS Vallikeezhu School. I’ve become more confident in my role as a student-teacher, and I’m starting to feel a stronger connection with both the students and the teaching staff. This week, I focused on further developing my teaching skills, managing classroom dynamics, and reflecting on my teaching practices. One of the key highlights this week was having the opportunity to lead a full lesson. I learned the importance of preparation and how being well-prepared can help calm nerves and boost confidence during lesson delivery. I also realized the importance of pacing ensuring that the lesson is not too rushed, but also keeping it engaging and on track. During my lesson, I made use of various teaching aids.
There is a SPC students parade on school.
This week has been a meaningful step in my B.Ed training. I feel like I am gaining a clearer understanding of what it means to be an effective teacher and I’m excited to continue building on this foundation.
